This major company milestone has generated global media coverage in outlets including TechCrunch, Forbes, Business Insider, Tech Cabal, Business Maverick, and others.
Of the funding round, TechCrunch shared:
"Last year when we covered the company, it had mapped 34 cities in Africa. Since then, it expanded into Mexico City last November and has completed multiple data production projects in the city alongside Lima, Bangkok, Gauteng and Dhaka. Right now, the company has worked in 41 cities across 28 countries."
Forbes shared:
"Services are notoriously unpredictable and it’s almost impossible to track the fleets of fast-moving taxis (usually 12 to 16-seater minibuses), as millions of commuters experience every day. This is the problem that WhereIsMyTransport is trying to solve – and has made very good inroads in emerging markets."
